slick or semi-slick tubeless 29er tire?

I am seeking recommendations for a slick or semi-slick tubeless 29er tire to use for high speed training on pavement, hard pack dirt roads and rails to trails type hard pack stone chip. I have looked at the Schwalbe Big Apple, but that seems too wide and too heavy. Anything else out there? Oh and cheap would be good also,,,,,,,,,,,

I've been running the Schwalbe Supermoto's which have worked great for the riding conditions you are looking for. Unfortunately they are not tubeless ready, supposedly Schwalbe is switching to a Tubeless ready version, but the three pairs I've bought from German stores recently were non tubeless. I tried running a set tubeless, but had frequent leaks from the porous sidewalls, and one ended up blowing off the rim sitting unattended in the garage with only 35psi, destroying the tire. I've since switched to ultralight tubes, which don't add much weight.

You can run a 700c tire on your rim as well, just realize that it will shrink your overall wheel diameter and significantly reduce your overall gearing. I tried 700x32 tires on my Fuel for a few rides, but spun out on the flats and the narrow sidewalls gave a harsh twitchy ride. The wider , taller Supermoto's give much better cushion and speed.

I have had good success with these Geax Evolutions. I run them at about 45 - 55 PSI. I have about pavement 600 miles on these now and have been very pleased. I have been running tubes, but I'm about to try them tubeless.
