HR Disc 29", alloy double-wall, disc, pin joint, 25mm, 36h

    Hello All,

Could somebody tell me if these tyres are 25mm internal please?

I have the below currently on my bike (stock tyres and rims) but looking at changing the tyres to Maxxis Ardent 2.4 but not sure if I can.

HR Disc 29", alloy double-wall, disc, pin joint, 25mm, 36h
Specialized Fast Trak Sport, 29x2.0", wire bead, 40TPI

    Cheers
    Neil

My first guess would be 25mm external but why not just measure the rims? If you don't want to remove the tire just measure the OD, rim walls usually account for a few mm's so in order to be 25mm they would have to have a larger OD than 25mm.

Rim inner width is usually around 5mm less than outer width. Some can be 4 and some 6 and over. Just measure the outside width and subtract 5mm to get a good idea of the inner width.
    What, me worry?
