    Wily porn

I built my new Wily Friday and took it for a couple of shake down runs over the weekend. This bike is incredible, finish is top notch, the fit is right on. Bike is incredibly nimble and stable at the same time. Smooth riding with a very stiff BB. The retro frame with the big wheels and Jones bars make one cool looking and great riding combination. The frame came in a hair over five pounds which is a bit heavy if I was an elite racer but Iím not so I donít care. Overall I am extremely pleased with my buying experience with Wily the frame exceeded all my expectations. Here are a few pics of the build.

Iím still working the bugs out of the fork. It had a ton of stiction out of the box but is loosening up quickly. So its been a little hard to settle into an air pressure that feels right. Also I havenít even touched the rebound adjustment yet and feel it probably needs to be slowed down a bit. The fork is very stiff and getting smooth as my Fox forks on my 26Ē bikes. The lock out works well and is appreciated. I did loose the cap on the air chamber on the way to the first trailhead Ill have to come up with some sort of replacement cap. The frame is stiff and smooth and so is the fork the two work well together.

    damn cap

I just pulled a valve cover of my jeep and put it on it for the time being but if you find something that works better let me know.

Those Bars look intriguing I wish I could try them out without shelling out $200.

Beautiful bike! Do you know what the frame weighs? The bike? Wondering how much the extra tubes add to the weight. Notice any difference in stiffness?

Doh....just noticed you indicated the frame weight in the first post. Would like to hear another review after you get a few miles on her.

Maybe you'll have to change your "handle" now that you're on the big wheels!
