What we already knew - Velonews: 29ers are faster.

The information on the older FS versus HT test is vague but the 29er results seem clear. I wonder why they don't even mention a 29 full suspension bike?

Maybe he didn't have a good one to test? Either way, I'd like to see his actual numbers so I could do some analysis on them.

One thing I felt was flawed with his original test was he always pedaled seated. This was in an effort to keep power constant, but it takes away one of the advantages of a hardtail; powering up a hill standing. Maybe not the most efficient method, but definitely effective.
