What frames to replace Fisher Hi-Fi Pri
I snapped my Hi-Fi Pro 29" today. Both arms (chainstay and the other side). It is an '09 with a few thousand miles on it I'd guess. Replaced the gearset last year.

I really liked the bike. I'll talk to my lbs but being 10 years old best I can hope for is some crash replacement discount. So I'll widen my search.

Given the unique geometry of the G2s what are the replacement frames I should look at that maximize component re-use? I would consider hardtail - riding now is more like gravel grinding and some single-track. Nothing hardcore. And if it is I have a fatty for that.

    Thanks!

Broke the frame of my 2008 or 9 Hi-fi deluxe in 2016 and trek sent me a 2014 fuel ex 9 frame. Trek for life!

Ok Trek offered $1800 credit or Top Fuel frame. Top Fuel would be an extensive rebuild (new wheels, fork, etc) so I'm going Procaliber. The 8 is aluminum with better components. The 9.6 is carbon with slightly lower grade components for $300 more.

I'm nervous about the durability of carbon (Istruck the bottom of the chainstay on my fat this morning And scraped it up good. Thought I might have killed it off it were carbon.

Thoughts here? The aluminum is out of stock on my size and I would have to wait. Carbon available now.

What's the frame guarantee on the carbon?

Lifetime on the frame. But they call or a specific carbon crash replacement program which raised an eyebrow...
