    Wanted: Sugar 293 or 292

Alright kids, I'm looking for a sugar 29er frameset or complete bike for a close friend of mine. Any year, either 293 or 292....we're not picky.

Soo, anyone know of a shop that has something or a used one?

    Let's hear it.

    Thanks,

    Brian

We don't need more to be thankful for; we just need to be more thankful.

I have a friend selling his...

292 complete bike for $650. It is a large however but should make a good ride regardless. The part spec may be a little different, but for the price of the complete bike, the frame and Marz Marathon fork are at least worth that. Let me know if you are interested.

    My friends 29r

I just got off the phone with him and here is his part spec:

    2002 292 (blue/yellow frame)
    2002 Marz Marathon (Red)
    Bonti Race Cranks
    Tru Vativ BB
Bonti Race Bar/Stem and seat post
    XT Fr Der
    XTR Rr Der
Wheels: Rear - Coda hub with mavic rim
    Front - Bonti Race
    the hubs are not disc
    Shifters: Sram Attack
    V-Brakes: Deore
    Tires: IRC Notos (new)
    Saddle: WTB

I have seen the bike and I think that it could pass as slightly used. Very clean!

I would buy it but a large is too big for me. If interested, please send me an e-mail [email protected]

Cloxxki, this is not a spam, but an answer to a thread. If you need me to, I will pay the $2 for my friend. Although he is not someone that frequents this forum.

What I mean by clean is the frame and fork.

Some of the parts may be new others are of course used. The frame and fork still look very nice.

For those that are inquiring about pics, I called him and we are going to see if he can drop off all of the bikes that he wants me to sell for him tonight at my house. Shoot me an e-mail, if you haven't already done so, and you shall be on the list.

Well, see my signature below...ha.ha.ha...how fried and burned can this spam get???

Color, I liked that orange, but I don't want to have 2 oranges floating around, so I'm thinking a hot burned PINK, like the make your eyes bleeed type color...or maybe a green, but I mean a hard glowing green...or a yellowish...i'll be going for Maximum IMPACT either way...

as for wheels, the frame is coming with a surly disc /salsa delgato rear wheel, and no front wheel. I have a king gold hub in the garage, so I've ordered a matching delgato from the LBS, and I'll build the front up, so the wheels will "match" in that reguard. The HS will be a nice cane creek, the fork a WB CX-1, and the rest of the parts kit will be straight off the RIG.

Seeing as I am still pissed that I sold the orange monkey to start with, this may be the personal bike that never goes for sale...

Hey, Rick. You listed your '03 blue and yellow Sugar 292 frame as an '04 model. However, the 2004 model year Sugar 292 is black and silver with a yellow logo and fork that looks like this (I have a size small of this frame and fork sitting around in the basement awaiting either divine intervention to take it off my hands or a weekend of building so that my wife and son have a squishy two niner experience around to ride):
