    Vitus Nucleus VR tires

    Hi,
Does anyone know what are the widest tires I can use for the Vitus VR 27 and 29 models?

I am leaning on trying to get a VR 29 but seeing if I can get wider tires later... hoping for at least 2.8 tires

    Thanks!

My kids have a small 27 and large 29 and I donít believe you could squeeze much over a 2.4-2.5 on the back of either.

    Ah ok. thanks so much!

    2.5 doesn't seem too bad

BTW... how do they like their bikes? How tall are they?

I am 5 ft -4 in tall and 28 inseam (both without shoes on).

I am looking at the 29.... small (dunno if they have this for the 29) or medium.

Do you think I would be ok in the medium?

according to this, the 2019 version has room for 2.4s. you might be able to squeeze some 2.5 tires in there, but they might rub and there's no room for mud. if you want a "plus" bike, you need to buy something specifically labeled as such.

Ah ok. Thanks for letting me know. I am new to the site and when I made that other post, for some reason it said I made too many posts so I didnít think that other post went through.
