Ventana El Commandante with a Pace RC31 Fork?

Too aggressive a fork for this frame? They say a 501 mm axle to crown fork should be used but I already own a Pace RC31 which I believe is a 440 mm axle to crown fork. Too much of a stretch to run this fork on this bike?

Might have better luck posting this in the Ventana forum, or just call Ventana and get it straight from the horses mouth. Good luck!

ive run the white bros rock solid (465 a-c?) and the niner carbon(470 a-c) on mine. both worked fine. of course, i havent ridden anything with a 500 a-c so it could possibly ride better...

440 a-c? depends on what you like to ride i guess. you would probably get used to it but it might not be optimal.

I guess the best bet is to just try it and see. I'm not so connected to the fork that I would have them make me a custom geometry frame or anything. I had the fork on ebay for 199 and got no bids so I figure might as well keep it.
