    tires in San Diego

Do any bike shops in San Diego have 29er tires on the shelf? Not mail order, just walk in unannounced and select a tire.
    thanks

I really dig CalCoast Bikes, on Adams near the 805.
If you go in, tell 'em Snowman sent you.

Go here. Best shop in SD in my opinion. Plenty of 29er tire options in stock.

Not really SD, but bikebling is in Escondido. I've only bought online from them, so I'm not sure what they actually have in the store.

they are in the process of moving to a bigger store so if you happen to go there w/o checking their site first, the new store in on grand (2 stop lights north) right before the Y to the hospital. Right hand side.

Depends on what you mean by "San Diego"-- Black Mountain Bikes in Mira Mesa does, from Specialized, Bonty, and Kenda (at least they did I was down visiting the parents). Had good service from them to boot.

    Bike Bling x3--carries a crap-load as well.

The boys at North of the Border are riding 29'ers with different gear, too. Chris suggested a 2.4 Ardent for me (and stocks it) and, it was an excellent suggestion for my front tire.
