    tire for racing on rocks?

Hello all -- I'm in the process of setting up my bike (hardtail) for the coming race season and I've got a bit of a tire dilemma. I've decided on the Fast Traks for dryish courses with few rocks, but I can't decide what to put on my "rock course" wheels. I'm currently running Notos and Mythos with decent results -- they are quite durable due to their low thread count, but are pretty heavy and their tread is getting old to me.

I often race on very technical, rock-strewn courses and I'm wondering about the Ignitor. It has a 60tpi sidewall (like the durable IRCs) but is way lighter. Sounds good to me. Anyone have any experience on how well they'll hold up?

When you mention rocks, are you talking rock gardens, or out crop sections of rocks?

I've used the Ignitor in both and its worked well for me.
    MTBR is serious stuff.
