Specialized Stumpjumper 29ER FSR 2008 weight?

    Hello,

I'm thinking about this bike but I'm so curious about the weight of this bike. Do you have any idea?

Pls advise also what is the most efficient way to decrease weight of 29er?

Can I use this bike for amateur marathons?

.... but IIRC, it's supposed to be pretty light, even a bit flexy, so they say.

    Stumpy 29er FSR Weight

Testrider.com reported their large to be a shade over 28 lbs. Seems reasonable as my XL was a ~29.5 lbs stock.

    weight of a large...

my large with water bottle cage, underseat pack (with tube, multi, and other crap in it), and lots of dirt on it weighed 30 on the nose. With my I9/Arch/race cassette with lighter tires came in just over 28 lbs if memory serves me right. I had a new Large 09 superfly weighed in the shop the other day with reflectors and no pedals and it weighed like 26+ which was really surprising...

it has been a great bike for me but have my eye on/want to test ride the new Carbon HT 29er from spec...

    Weights of the 2010 29ers?

What are the showroom floor weights of the 2010 Spac. 29ers? Specifically the Stumpy Comp and the Epic Comp?

Be patient. They haven't hit the showroom floor yet!

My XL FSR '08 weighs just over 30lbs. I've lightened it by changing out the seat post to Thomson and a new Chris King wheelset with Flows and tubless.
