Bonking ... not feelin' well Some Things I Don't Like..

People who somehow manage to get around the local Council / Government regulations about building their home in or very close to areas put aside to be "Bushland".

Mountainbike frames with the cable guides sticking up along the frame top tube... ["Ball-Rippers"].

Smokers and litterers who leave their stinking rubbish in the bush.

Dog owners who never pick up their dogs' droppings on the trails.

Mountainbike frames with not enough downtube clearance for Reba etc.. forks.

Mountainbike frames that don't have enough clearance for big [2.3 +] tires.

Poorly made and assembled [read: CHEAP] supermarket "Mountain" bikes that have labels saying: "Do NOT use this bicycle offroad".

    Slime tubes.

    Flexy rims and wheels

    Plastic based padded bike seats.

Noisy disc brakes [*squeek..squeek*] like Avids.

    Deraileur hangers.

Rich people who don't pay their bills for work that I do.

Dogs that chase after you as you ride by.

Drink bottles that 'bubble' as you drink from them, making you burp.

    Torx headed bolts and screws.

    Humidity.

The saturday morning madhouse / scramble / drive to get my boys to their soccer games in heavy traffic when i'd rather be riding.

Car drivers who "just didn't see you" as they run you off the road.

Punctures at sunset out on the trail.

Running out of legs and lungs on a hard long climb.

Flies and mozzies that feast on you as you try to fix that snakebite puncture.

People who play loud music at the trail head as they get ready to ride.

Trails that get closed to bicycles by some jerk who built his house nearby and who has a brother on the local Council.

    Razor grass cuts.

    Mowing the lawn.

    Flat, smooth trails.

    It is inevitable ...

What I hate the most is being sore, or "recovering" or whatever. It means I don't get to ride everyday in a row =)

    People complaining about Reba clearance...

When it's obviously a flaw in the design of the fork, not the frame!

Thank you! What on earth makes people think that the rest of us want to be subjected to their locker-room warm-up jams? <p> I've always felt that there's an inverse relationship between a person's taste in music and the volume of their stereo.

    Easy mate,

to the US - you have some fine beers there but obviously prefer by majority to dring watered down cats piss, why waste the goo stuff on you.

to the UK - Neigbours, Home and Away, Rolf Harris, Fosters, getting the impression we havent forgiven you yet?

Europe - you lot invented the good stuff (persians and egyptians started it you perfected it), you have so much good stuff there, why try and preach to the choir, if ours is that much better, move.

Asia - the only people that drink decent asian beer are the Aussies on a bender anyway, you dont travel OS to drink the same stuff.

the question should be why do we export our best beef, seafood and wine?
