Could I use a Shimano SLX 10-Speed Cassette if iam using Sram X9 10sp shifters and derailer? I think i can just not to sure any help would be appericated.

You Rock thanks Man, did u save any weight is it heavy? How is the shifting? I have XO 9sp now. If i dont have pay for XX yet i wont and get the perks of 10sp, besides the weight savings.

I have both the XT and SLX cassettes and there is a noticeable weight difference between the cassettes, with the SLX steel cogs being the bulk of that difference.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I have the same 9 spd sram/shimano combo but I am running XO shifters/derailleurs with the XT cassette. The XT cassette is lighter but still a good price point compared to sram. I havent tried the SLX except for the cranks.
