Questions For Lynskey Pro 29 Owners

How dent resistant is the tripple butted Ti Hex down tube compared to the conventional single butted? Aluminum bikes are quite weak in this area, not sure of Ti. The non butted (uniform) Ti tubes are quite resiliant against rock damage and small dent damage.

How is the quality of the Hex tube design? I read somewhere that some have a lot to be desired because of the tooling marks during forming, etc.?

Just was woundering before I take the plung in the light weight hex design.

I have beaten on my Helix non-stop this year-
I have had a few rock strikes from decent sized rocks fly up and no dents as of yet (knock on wood). Tubing seems robust- Ti is pretty hard. Much harder than AL. Al is very soft comparitively speaking.

I love my Lynskey- a great riding bike.... and a really nice group of people to work with.

Been riding pretty hard and have done some racing on it. No dents or dings, frame has been fantastic so far.
