    Pivot Firebird 29 Chain Rub

Just pickup the XO1 Pro Build. First ride out and I found the chain is rubbing the chain stay in the lowest(50t) cog. Suspecting the LBS didnít install proper spacers in BB. Any thoughts?

Is it rubbing the vertical member that connects the chain stay to the seat stay on the DS? I don't think there is much in the way of spacers on that crank and BB. Could be the wrong offset chain ring, standard instead of boost. A Boost ring would be 3mm further out. In my experience the crank and rings have always come installed on complete bikes, so not likely the LBS's fault, though they should have caught it during assembly, inspection and checkout.

I see that bike is Super Boost, so IDK about the crank and ring in that case.
    Do the math.

Is it the XO1 build straight from Pivot? If so it should have an optimized chain line / ring with the build.

SRAM equipped Firebird 29ís from Pivot come equipped with SRAM cranks with chainrings and/or spindles optimized for the 56.5mm SB+ chain line.
If the crank happens to be after market or you built the bike up then you will need to look into One Up's SB+ chainring they sell!

Do you have any pictures of the rub and drive train components?
