I am always impressed with Steve's work. That's a proper custom frame right there.

Still a lot of snow to melt here in Connecticut.

In the meantime - I just keep futzing with my bike(s). This just features a different stem.

    Okay, I'll play.

Something new I got this week for my Waltworks. I am enamored by its beauty. A Brooks bonus point to the first person who can identify exactly what it is.

No sir. Almost went that route, though.

Hint: The saddle came from Brooks as pictured.

Winner. Tough to justify the price, but I figure it is a 10+ year investment. If you're thinking about getting one, I ordered mine for $300 shipped from here:

    http://www.velomine.com/index.php?ma...oducts_id=1117

(I'm not affiliated with this company in any way, just passing on the deal.)

    Sorry to derail the thread.

    Let there be photos.

    here's my contribution...

MMcG has seen this photo already, so forgive me for the re-post...

    New to me Pereira

Still fiddling with saddle choice/position. Now has a NOS yellow WTB SST XR on it.

I'm digging how maneuverable it is without any twitchiness.

    Looking forward to more rides.

I think this is actually the 3rd thread today I've seen this picture in. Not to worry, though, I'm not complaining. It's a beautiful bike. For some reason I think a silver Surly Torsion bar would look very nice on it, but it looks great as is.

In keeping with the theme. Here is my new ride. Picked up the frame last night. Rode my Bandersnatch this a.m., broke a der. and hanger. Motivated me to build the frame this afternoon! Have a solo race next Sun. shooting for 6 laps (about 60 miles). 28 lbs as a 1x9, nothing too light on it.

    hahahah! OK I'll stop.

I do have a Jones H-bar which will go on, along with a rigid fork. Maybe more pics then!

    Bike Diet

I put my bike on a strict diet this week.

Junk food: XT hubs to DT TK540 rims, old XT cranks with square taper.

Health food: Stan's Crest wheelset, chopped XTR m960 crankset.

Lost 3 lbs in a day!!
    Something with wheels and brakes.
