Heck yeah, have fun! I've got an '09 Marlin and I love it, thousands (Just over 3K) of miles of road and trail use and it's holding up great.

Get out and get it muddy, and put up some pics if you can!

Awesome! First post here, been lurking getting opinions on bikes for a little while though. I started shopping the Marlin a few months ago and just pulled the trigger yesterday on a 2011 X-Cal in 21", should be here next week. Can't wait to get it out on the trail. First bike in 5 years for me, last bike was an '03 Stump Jumper FS bike that I was never really all that happy with. The 29er Hardtail felt right the first time I climbed on one, can't wait to take it for a "real" ride!!! Congrats!!
