    Origin8 Frankenmonster

Just finished this build. I have gone through a couple off iterations. Carbon straight bars, mary bars, full disk etc... Finally decided I wanted some comfort bars and went wtih some old school bmx riser bars and a bmx stem. Saddle is a Brooks Flyer. I 86'd the front disk brake for simplicity.

Origin8 Black Ops steel frame year before they went Aluminum. Carbon fiber Origin8 Black Ops fork. Big "Arse" Apple tires. Origin8 carbon seat post. ODI clamp on BMX grips.

She has gotten a bit on the fat side and now and tips the scales at 34#. Bars, seat and pedals are heavy. But she rides like a dream and with 29" wide bars give really good leverage when you need it. Good wheelie rider with the riser bars.

I still have all my other components so I could change out out to Mary bars, dual disk brakes and new saddle and be in the 28# range if needed.
