    Which one should I keep?

    Which one should I keep?-img_3521.jpg

I currently have two extremely similar bikes, a 2018 fuel ex 7 and 9.7.

One has gotta go to fund a nice HT, which should go?

This seems like a question that only you can answer. When you ride, could you tell which is which blindfolded? If you can't, sell the 9.7 as it's worth more.

If you can, then figure out how much that difference is worth to you and how much the price difference would mean in terms of a nicer hardtail.

Keep the one that is your favorite color.

Get rid of the one that made you crash -it's obviously the stupid one.

Get rid of the one with fewer miles, it's obviously your least favorite.

Keep the one you'd regret the most after watching the buyer ride off with their new purchase of an amazing bike.

Sell the one that looks the most similar to the new hard tail. It's dumb to have two bikes that look similar.

    You're welcome.

I literally just got the 7 for a steal, which is the only reason I have it. Iíve had the 9.7 for several months and they are so similar itís hard to tell them apart.

There's no wrong choice here. Sell them both and buy one that doesn't say Trek on the side.

I'm more interested in what the new "nice" hardtail is??
    Rigid SS 29er
    SS 29+
    Fat Lefty
    SS cyclocross
    Full Sus 29er (Yuck)

Stop asking how much it weighs and just go ride it.

For the trails I ride an aggressive 27.5+ HT might be the perfect bike.

Well then there is your answer. If they are so similar that it's hard to tell them apart, you can sell the one that's worth more (the 9.7) and not be losing much. That will buy you a better hardtail. Let someone else pay for marginal gains and diminishing returns.

I'm not. Popular bikes are easy to sell. Have fun with the new hardtail!

Are you sure you gave the buyer the right bike? I recall you saying you could barely tell them apart.

I kinda figured it might be a tough sell since the season is ending soon. I think Iím gonna wait until chainreaction gets the 2020 vitus VRX in stock.
