    On-One Midge Users

    Please post pics of your bikes. I'm trying to show a friend how 29ers can be set up with drop bars.

    Check out ScottyMac's and Subluxation's for a few excellent examples. I had one on a Monkey about a year ago, but it was set up too far and too low, so it hurt my back when jumpin' around like an eedyot. You need to set it up so that the drops are about level with the saddle.

    My Wily. The trails have been too muddy to ride it with the Midge yet.

    That is a personal preference. I set up mine with the tops about level with the saddle.

    In the drops your hands (thumb/index finger) should in the same location as with straight bars.

    Use fenders if you're worried about the mud!

    This rain sucks. I may have to do some road riding just to get some miles in. Yuck!
