    OK, have a screwed up?

I have a 2008 SE Racing Stout SS. It had the stock steel fork that I had a friend change out for me. I went with a Black Ops carbon fork in what I assume is the 428mm size, but itís about an inch and a half shorter (crown to axle) that the OEM fork. I rode it around the parking lot today and it feels like it does feel more precise in the corning. Iíll be taking it out tomorrow for a real ride, but I just wonder if Iíve just screwed up my geometry? Anybody have an opinion?
    TIA
    Bill

    It depends,

You have changed the geometry of the bike.

If you like it less, you have fked up.

If you like it more, WIN!!!

You can get fat crown races to lift the front up more, this will adjust the geo up a bit.

I have a friend that runs the 26" carbon On One on his 29er Superfly and he likes it.
if you don't feel like riding, that's usually when you need it most
