    Nukeproof Scout 290?

I am contemplating building a hardtail build to supplement my Knolly Warden. More of an all mountainish bike for sure. There are a few things I like about the Nukeproof 290 frame, such as long reach/top tube, and the short, tapered head tube. Pretty sure I could get a good fit with the 432mm seat tube and 629mm top tube. Not a lot of bikes with short seat tubes AND long top tubes. I need the short seat tube to use a decent length dropper. A couple of things I'm not sure about are the 65mm BB drop, 66 degree HTA, and the 440mm chainstay length. I like a slack bike but maybe 66 is too much. It can be fixed with an angle headset so it's not a deal breaker. I'm sure the low BB will help cornering but I'm not sure how 65mm of drop translates into BB height. The big thing is the 440mm chainstay, which seems over 20mm longer than the norm. I'm building up from a frame and have a 142mm hub and would like to avoid boost. My big concern is that the long chainstays will not give the bike much playfulness.
