Niner Carbon Fork- the "backorder" time?

I ordered a carbon niner fork a few weeks ago....backordered. Way past 5-7 and 7-10 days now. Anyone know the "real" backorder time on these?

Ordered from a reputable online retailer....cant get an answer- just "well let you know when they come in....they are backordered."

    Demand must be high....

anyone else have long wait times????

last I heard they don't exist in the US right now except a couple here and there. Everything carbon from Asia seems to be backed up right... not enough capacity in the plants and a smaller company like Niner can get bumped down the production list. I believe Niner recentl posted a letter to that effect somewhere

Nude and white are in stock at a couple on-line parts houses. Haven't seen any "colors" for a while.

You might find this article interesting, detailing production delays throughout the bike industry.

Go to an LBS that deals with the vendor BTI-USA. They have them in stock and ready to ship. You can actually look at the consumer page @bti-usa.com, and give your lbs the part # and sku. Easy-peasy.

Great article I love it sold out of Gary Fisher and Specialized 29ers by April 1.

I've had a GF carbon fork on backorder all year. I'll try again for 2011
The secret to mountain biking is pretty simple. The slower you go the more likely it is you'll crash.
