... and if we just ... Newest member of the family (Tallboy and his brother!)...

Since being bitten by the 29er bug this summer, I've expanded my quiver by buying my second 29er...(my first is a C'dale 29er 1)

Picked this up at my sort-of LBS (2 hours away, since I don't trust the local SC dealer, and my much loved LBS is not a SC dealer)...

Started with the SPX build, but very little remains--my upgrade-itis took hold and now it wears:

XX drivetrain (166 Q-factor with 39 tooth biggie)
    Racing Ralphs
    Candy 2Ti pedals
    Ritchey WCS 4-Axis stem
    Race Face Next SL bar
Elixir CR Mags (instead of regular CR--this way I can use the Matchmaker X mounts), with 185mm front (instead of stock 160mm front)
Titec Pork Rinds (don't call it a comeback, they've been here for years...)
Factory Chris King tapered headset upgrade

Weight is pretty good for a size XL hucker bike, 26 pounds, 1 ounce. I figure if I wanted to break through my psychological 25 pound barrier, I could go tubeless and upgrade the wheelset. First things first--replenish bank account!

Thanks to Dano at SC, Kris at Competitive Cyclist, Matt at Speedgoat, Kale and Chan at Cycle-Solutions, and T-man for riding shotgun with me to pick 'er up.

    Nice setup.

Can you post another pic of the matchmaker? Looks like a Torx head on the brake body.

I think every bolt, except the crank bolt, on the Sram XX group uses a T25 bolt head.
Thanks to www.weavercycleworks.com for my awesome bike frames!

Yup, Torx T25 everywhere. When I was in the sort-of-LBS, the owner asked if I had a Torx wrench, I said "uh...yep--don't you?". I thought he was wondering if I had one with me, ie: he didn't have one to do the build, hahaha...

I'll have to take some pictures of Mr. Cannondale and post them too...

I cannibalized the Avid CR Mags off that bike, to go on the Tallboy, to use the Matchmaker X. So, the OEM Avid CR (non-mags) will go onto the Cannondale! Once I put those back on, I'll post some pics. Maybe a few of them together, too!
