Get a cassette with a full 5 or 6 of the biggest gears on an aluminum spider. Sram 990 or Shimano XT have these. Yes, they are spendy, but worth it. shop for them on the internet, maybe get some free shipping too.

I was wondering the same thing. I put a 980 on my Crest/Ztr hub wheelset and it bothered me. The hub didn't have the small little groove that locks the cassette in. Am I running my freehub body?
