    New to MTB

    Greetings-

I just picked up a 2018 camber 29er for this up coming season. I have moved away from road biking due too many people texting on the road and not as many races when compared to gravel, mtb, xc races that are local to the Midwest.

I have pretty much the base model camber, with a 2x9 and alum frame. I plan to start upgrading components to reduce the weight but also increase the performance aspect, i can flex the cranks while sitting on the bike so those will be among the first upgrades.

i have searched and found lots of answers but one answer i have not found is the weight of the stock wheel set. Does anyone happen to know it?

    "Double-wall, 27mm internal width, 32H"

Not sure. I was poking around a little bit, and the only site I found that listed an actual rim was listing a 650b (27.5") rim.

Being honest, expect them to be heavy. Decent wheels are expensive, and you typically have to go well up in the offerings from Specialized (or any other company) to find decent wheels.

To get a better answer, I'd suggest posting this question over in the Specialized forum.
