Need help finding which BB I have.

I bought a 2009 Bianchi SOK SLX frame only and making it a single speed. Anybody know which bottom bracket this came with? I want to add SRAM / TruVativ X9 cranks with GXP bottom bracket. will these work?

It has vertical drop outs too. How does the surly singleator work?

Here is a spec sheet but does not say anything about the bottom bracket: Sok 29er SLX/Deore Disc | Bianchi USA

    Thanks

The BB shell will likely be the threaded standard....ie a stock GXP BB will thread straight in.
(The deore cranks most probably are an internal type BB with the axle as part of the unit. Newer external style cranks of course of the axle as part of the crank assembly.)

A lot of the conversion SS kits will have some form of tensioning unit for the chain, as you can't just slide the wheel to do that. It will mount where a derailleur does and (AFAIK) is a sprung loaded jockey wheel. You effectively size the chain a double link or 2 longer than absolute minimum to wrap the two sprockets and the SS converter takes the slack.
