    Need frame with 10mm qr.

I have a fun dilemma. Found a qr pair of 29 wheels (with for free sign on them.). I have access to a qr RS fork ($50). and componants to pull off from an old 26r. What I need is a cheap 29 M frame that will work with it.

    any ideas for inexpensive frame.

    Check out https://www.bike-discount.de/en/cube-frame

With any luck you could score a suitable frame from there for way under 100 euros. I think US Shipping is about 30

What hubs are on the wheel? Can the hub be converted to 12mm?

Define "inexpensive." To many MTBR readers, "budget frame" is anything less than $1200.

Trying to keep costs around +-200. Bike will likely be for son or wife, both would fit a medium. rear hub is a shimano....so no on the conversion. good idea tho.

You are best off buying used in that price race. Keep watching Pinkbike buy/sell, craigslist and/or ebay. With patience you should be able to find something good for that price
