    My New Surly Karate Monkey

Craiglist score...350.00$ Bike is 9 to 9-1/2 out of 10 on condition, nearly new, what a steal huh, was to big for the guy I got it from. Was all stock except the bars which were Easton Monkey Lite carbon DH bars. I swapped them out for Easton E30 Monkey bars, Specialized Avitar gel saddle, Easton E30 seatpost, and swapped the clipless for platforms. I look forward to upgrading a few parts, wont need much though, was thinking brakes first with perhaps Paul's or XTR. Enjoy.

What a steal! Enjoy it! Thinking seriously about getting a KM myself. Rode one last fall for an hour and loved it.

    Great find!

I am actually thinking about getting a second Karate Monkey (commuter) and would jump on one at that price.

As much as I love my Kona, my Monkey sees WAY more ride time and puts a big smile on my face every time.

Yup, the KM is my new commuter and my Peace 9R is for the race weekend warrior stuff. Thanks for the comments all.

You're a lucky Dude, $350 for a complete bike in that condition Wish I could get that kind of luck.
