A monkey playing with H-bars (Cloxxki?)

I am almost done building my monkey with H-bars (will post pics when done). I am deciding on which Tompson post to get. Staight or layback. I know the H-bars throw things off so would a layback help with things? Your opinions would be appreciated. Thanks
P.S. I will only use a Tompson post.

Clearly, there's but one option for you:
    133mm stem, 8.5 rise
12.4mm in spacers under the stem, 15.6m on top.
H-bar mounted at a 16.3 angle, rear down.

Seriously, without extremely tech-geeky data on your previous well-fitting bikes, it's anyone's guess. Measurements to start with could be : centre handlebar-ground and BB height. Difference between the 2 might be almost an inch more for the H, and reach (eff TT + stem) 20-30mm more.

Your handlebars have nothing to do with which seat post to use. You should set your saddle to put you in the proper position over the pedals.

THEN you use the stem to get the bars where you need them.

The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common
