    Minute 29er question

I have a question on the Minute 29er, can the travel be adjusted like on the Rock Shox? I scored a deal to good to pass up on a 120 TA Minute and not sure how 120 will act on my Misfit diSSent. The geometry is based around a 100mm fork so A/C would be 510. Right now I am rigid with an A/C of 465 and a rake of 45. The 120 will bring up to an A/C of 530 and 48 on the rake. Good or bad????

I don't think you can change the travel on the Manitou Minute 29er's. That said, the fork will slacken out your headtube angle resulting in a decrease in steering speed, however the increased fork offset (rake) should make up the difference. Steering speed aside, your main problem is going to be if the frame's headtube can take the abuse a 120mm fork and how you cope with the handlebar height increase. Personally, I would try to find a fork that matches your frame design.

    Yes, according to this post.

Here is the mother of all Minute 120mm threads, but applies to all Minute 29er forks
