Medium Tallboy arrived today, F29 fork... weights

For those interested in these things.

Medium Tallboy Frame - Orange Painted Frame. Weight includes KING headset cups, seat collar, r.der hanger. 5.3 lb.

Fox F29 FIT fork, tapered steerer, uncut steerer tube, king race installed and with 15QR weight included. 4lb 1 oz.

Not real riding weather here in Michigan right now so I'm not in a rush on the build. Hopefully this weekend I can get going on the build.

Just a shade under 5'10" in barefeet.

My initial plan is to run a 100mm stem with a 6 deg rise with 1/2 inch or so of spacers. Straight seatpost.

    Currently running a small Titus Racer x 29er which has a 23.25 inch top tube(effective) with a 90mm stem.

I have both a 100mm and 110mm stem I will try. Bars are syntace with a 12 deg sweep.

First - can you make your scale read grams?

    Is the fork a 100 or a 120.

Enjoy that TB. I am waiting on a Large frame and planning a TB on a serious diet!

    Thanks for the info.

Doesn't matter for diet purposes, weight is the same save for a spacer.

My XXL frame with Monarch shock is 5.62 pounds naked. Over 2.5 pounds lighter than my XL Big Mama frame.

Wonder if it's the paint - or shock, or both? My XXL in black (RP23) with king headset was 5.5. Either way - I'm pretty stoked to have a 24.5lb 29er FS.
