    Length of Thomson Setback Seatpost

So I'm building up a Jamis Dragon 29er, 19" Frame. I'm 6'2", is there a default seatpost length to go with to get the right height. I'm set on the setback and I think the 330mm will work. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I ride a 19inch Monocog with a 400mm seat post and I am about the same size as you. Easier to cut a 400mm down if it's too long rather than try and add some.

Hard to say with out knowing your inseam.
But unless you have a 32 inseam, you are probably looking at a 350 minimum

    What is your seat height.
Often about 110% of inside leg measurement (max).
So crank length + frame length (19 inch if c to top) + seat post length + thickness of seat = seat height.
7+19+10+2 =38 inches seat height is about the max with a 400mm post with 300mm of post showing

You want at least 4 inches of post in frame. Work out seat post length you need.

Becuase your frame is too small for you, you'll probably need the longest post made. I think they make a 400 and/or a 410....
