    Leftovers.

So Iím in the market for a new bike (ya I know youíve heard that one before) but Iím on a budget and donít need the latest and greatest bike on the market. With that being said there previous gen are now on sale and probably still an amazing bike. So my Max would be 4K but would rather stay closer to 3500. I want short travel 110 to 130 rear 140 front. My local trails are not overly aggressive and I donít jump Iím to old and overweight for that...lol. The bikes that pop out at me are Tallboy3 and Ripley LS. Iím sure Iím missing some great bikes that could fit my need.
Lastly I want new ,nothing used.
    Thanks

For $3500 you can get a great used bike. The 4.5 or Ripley LS would be my choices.

I have a hard time buying a used bike that I canít see in person, if it has the smallest crack in the frame your screwed. With that being said a local guy is selling a 4.5

Fezzari has some awesome bikes, at great prices. Full carbon under 3k, if you're into that kind of stuff.

Agreed... Lots of great stuff out there right now. Think that even the new Ripmo AF is coming in under $4k in lots of cases. Yup, NX version is $2999, SLX version is $3999. Damn good deal, then there are places like ChainReactionCycles that you can have something like a Vitus shipped from the UK for pretty cheap and still are highly rated bikes.

I think Evil is still selling their frames for $1899 (except the Offering). Last I saw they were offering another 200 off that.

Well I ended up going used after all. Picked up a Pivot Trail429 with carbon rims for 3500. Bought it local so I was able to check out the bike and ride it.

Great deal. Those Pivots has the best suspension platform around: DW-Link
