My build is finally complete (well mostly anyway) and so far I'm happy with the way it turned out. It started out as a budget build, and spiraled out of control from there. Sadly I haven't been able to take it out for a true ride yet as I still have a couple feet of snow in my front yard. I built it for racing but I still need it to be able to hold it's own as I am not easy on equipment. Should be lots of fun to ride and I can't wait for spring to get here.

Moto fly 29er 17.5 inch frame
    Reba Race 29er 100mm
    Kings laced to Arches
    XT drivetrain
    Aspen 2.1 tires

23.4 lbs (on a bathroom scale)

He he he im just messing with you. Nice build! I just got my very 1st 29er as well today and i can't wait. I like your Chris king wheelset are they brand new? Because the guy i bought my bike from had a new (less than 200 miles) chris king hub and it didn't sound as loud as the others.

The wheelset is new and is also my first handbuilt wheelset, so lots of "firsts" for me with this build.

Budget build my arse! Chris King components are always a big part of a budget build as long as the budget is big.

Very nice! I have always been fond of that frame. I didn't know they made it in a 29er.

You know those bikes would be nice, but for the gawdy a$$ graphics - hope you can easily remove them - cause other than that real nice.
