Not aplicable. The color of the chain HAS NO function. So then whatever color it is is by default or convention.

My partner's son (age 10) takes them apart and makes custom multi-color chains. Go all the way and have something totally original.

I even picked up the black Interloc cassette just to match the black wipperman....don't know if I'll keep the cassette though. Its a little chunky....looks great though with the all black drivetrain...

I love how the webcyclery pic isn't the actual colors....somebody just put different color overlays on the picture. Nice.

Where do I get a wipperman? That thing is sweet lookin'

    edit:

Doh, no wipperman with colors for singlespeed. Bummer. Well, I guess I'll just have to go with the gold from webcyclery.

I see the point on a blinglespeed, but how well do the colored plates wear on a gearie set up? I thought the colored Wippermans were only for SS MTB and BMX apps?

Lol, Im already tryin to shed my POSER label due to my level 9 gear and level 1 riding skills. Ok so 9+1=10 and one a these chains would prolly add 1 to gear column; that makes me a perfect 11. Gotta get me 1!

I don't know how they wear but I'm still mourning the fact that my blue wipperman chain wouldn't fit over my white industries freewheel...so they're def not for singlespeeds.

Works perfectly with the Boone cog on my SS, no problems.
