    Ibis Ripmo V2

Anyone know of any shops that have the new ripmo v2 in stock? Frame or complete build.

Nothing, nada, nowhere in the size Large. I've already scoured the ends of the earth.

I've seen a Medium aluminum frame and a XL V1 in stock just last weekend.

Last week I called the local IBIS shop just north of Boston asking availability for a large GX or SLX. Dec. 25....No Bueno.

You can build one up on either Competitive Cyclist or Backcountry.com (same company). They have a custom build program. I just looked at it and it is possible to build the equivalent XT build there for about the same price (all parts in stock as of right now-June 10th). Otherwise, good luck as Ibis doesn't have inventory and aren't doing a lot out of their warehouse right now. A friend is trying to buy a 2020 Ripley and finding it damn near impossible to get any information from Ibis. Our local LBS who does a good bit of biz with Ibis can't even get answers.

I'd call CC / BC and double check they have the Ripmo frames in stock. I've had some issues with them listing product as in stock online and then when I get down to placing an order, they tell me there's a backorder. They recently did this with the Pivot Trail 429 bikes they had discounted at 15% off online - said "oh, we're out of stock on that one" and then wouldn't honor the discount on what they have in stock.

I did the same thing last night, after hearing September from a couple dealers.

I definitely got lucky... I demoed a few bikes this spring (including Ripmo v1) and ended up that my LBS had 1 large Ripmo v2 left on allocation from IBIS and it is due in June 29th... ordered on June 5th. We'll see if it delivers on time.

    Found this:

Large blue V2 frame, new. A bit steeper in price. Don't know if or how the warranty might carry over.
