    I can't wait for Spring!!!

    So I finally got my new Niner EMD frame two weeks ago and it is SWEET!!! Started out with this:
    <center>
    <a href="https://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l146/Bigpapakersh/Niner%20EMD/?action=view&current=IMG_0272.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l146/Bigpapakersh/Niner%20EMD/IMG_0272.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><br />
    <a href="https://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l146/Bigpapakersh/Niner%20EMD/?action=view&current=IMG_0273.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l146/Bigpapakersh/Niner%20EMD/IMG_0273.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><br />
    </center>
    I rode some borrowed wheels for about a week until I could get mine built up...
    <center>
    <a href="https://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l146/Bigpapakersh/Niner%20EMD/?action=view&current=IMG_0277.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l146/Bigpapakersh/Niner%20EMD/IMG_0277.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><br />
    </center>
    And now finally I have arrived at this:
    <center>
    <a href="https://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l146/Bigpapakersh/Niner%20EMD/?action=view&current=100_1517.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l146/Bigpapakersh/Niner%20EMD/100_1517.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><br />
    <a href="https://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l146/Bigpapakersh/Niner%20EMD/?action=view&current=100_1513-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l146/Bigpapakersh/Niner%20EMD/100_1513-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><br />
    <a href="https://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l146/Bigpapakersh/Niner%20EMD/?action=view&current=100_1515-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l146/Bigpapakersh/Niner%20EMD/100_1515-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><br />
    </center>

    It weighs 24.5 lbs as it sits with a 970 cassette and a 971 chain. It also has tubes right now and I'm setting it up tubeless on Monday. I'm hoping that just by ditching the tubes I'll save 1.5lbs. I also want to get one of the Paul Components Chain Keepers as well and either some carbon or Ti bars to throw on it. I've only ridden it a couple of times but it has been SWEET! I can't wait for some warmer, dryer weather to get here. Come on Spring!!!!!

    Very nice build!

    I've got a 3 y/o black EMD frame. Really nice all-round frame. Stiff, light, and gobs of tires clearance. I'm entering my 4th season with it and there's nothing else I'd rather have.

    Tubeless is awesome and really kills any remaining harshness the curved seat stays don't absorb. I'm running mine with Stans Flow rims and Racing Ralphs 2.4 tubeless @ 19-20 psi.

    BTW, are you running the Reba 80 or 100? Combining the older geometry with steeper head angle (72 deg) and higher 2009+ Reba offset, 100mm works great.

    With regards to Paul Chain Keeper, I posted some pics/issues on the Niner forum, in particular he tubing prevents the guide from going any lower than a 34t ring.

    I know, I cannot wait to really ride this thing. I've done a few short rides out at our intramural fields at school but they're nothing exciting.

    Frits: I'm running the fork at 80mm. That's the way it came and I'm not one to mess with the suspension stuff much. It feels pretty good so far but again, I haven't gotten to ride any longer rides yet. I'm just ready for some decent weather.

    Not to be a pessimsist, but just dropping the tubes isn't going to net you 1.5 pounds.

    I was thinking the same thing as 2 tubes do not weight 1.5 lbs.
