G2 fork on my Tallboy?

hi all and happy new year,

I've got a SC Tallboy frameset and have been offered a sweet deal on a Fox 120mm fork (tapered) from a guy who owns a Rumblefish. I know that there is a different offset for this fork but would like to know if it's ok to run it on my SC Tallboy?

If it's a great deal...buy it and try it.
I had a Fox f29 G2 off my HiFi and a regular offset f29....
Tried them both on my Lenz.
Honestly.....the difference...if there was one...was so small that it didn't really matter.

I have the same experience as "the mayor" and oddly enough with the same brands....

I took the g2 f29 off my Gary Fisher Rig and put it on a Lenz Milk Money. No problems whatsoever.

I think it will be fine. If you are running it at 120mm it will definitely assist in the "trail" feel since it makes it every so slightly more relaxed. G2 Offset is 51mm right? I believe Rockshox use something around 46mm, not a big difference especially on suspension forks.

I swapped between a Push'd G2 Fox, a regular Fox, a DT Swiss and a Reba on both the 07 HiFi Pro and the Lenz.
They all handled a little....and I mean VERY little...different. They all had their pros and cons.
I went with the DT for the most pros/least cons. I still have the Pushed G2 for a backup ( was my 2nd fave fork)
