    Fox Talas 29er

Anyone tried it yet? I want to know if it would be worth the $$$$ to upgrade.

Upgrade from what? Hard to call it a proper "review", but Dirt Rag did a write-up on it linked from the 36 Talas 29 product page:

I love mine. Works well in both travel modes on a Tallboy.

Not knowing what kind of bike or fork you already have, it's hard to say. If you have to get a new fork anyway, then it was worth it for me.

If you're coming from a standard skewer fork and you'd also be getting QR15 plus a tapered headset with the TALAS, then I'd say "probably." If you're not upgrading to QR15 and you already have a decent 120mm or 100mm fork, I wouldn't bother.

I'd have been happy with either a 120mm or 100mm (although the 100mm feels much more XC-fast on the Tallboy), but the QR15 and tapered headset was a bigger upgrade over the same wheels on a standard Reba...
