    External Travel Adjustable Forks?

Are there any other external travel adjustable forks besides the F29 Fox Talas forks? And if I change my travel several times a ride on 26" wheels, will I probably still want to do the same? I even had a U-turn, and it took a good 10 seconds of riding one handed to get up or down.

    Thanks for any info.

2012 Rock Shox Revelation 29er forks will have an external "Dual Position Air" with about 30mm of adjustment.

That looks like a sweet fork, but from what I see it looks like it only goes from 120 to 150. I am looking for something like what the Talas is, 90 to 120.

That article says that the Revelation 29er will be available in three configurations: 120mm, 130mm, and 140mm. If the 120mm model comes with the same 30mm drop Dual Position Air, then that would give you the 120-90 that you are looking for. Edit: yes, the article says "all Revelation variants will feature ... these technologies"

Yeah, I saw that in the article too. But when I did a search for Revelation forks on the net, it only came back with 120/150. I love my RS Lyric, and would be psyched if the Rev did the 90/120 thing.

Please show me the errors in my ways.

I'm guessing that's from the 2011 26" models since those are the only ones that go up to 150mm and are the only ones that have already been on the market. These new 2012 29er forks have not been released yet

edit: nevermind, these are available through other distributors. Since these are being sold as 140mm forks that all be spaced down to 130mm or 120mm, I'm guessing the Dual Position device is not affected by adding the travel spacers and any of these can be made into 120-90mm forks

Sorry, you are totally right, those are 26". I guess I thought the RS article said July to August, and I assumed since it is Sept, we should already have these out. Thanks.

Looks like two of the high-end options are available already. Dual Air (internally adjustable) and Dual Position Air (on-the-fly adjustable)

Dang. Sorry. Didn't realize they even made the 26er Reba anymore.
