Is anyone having problems with getting the non-drive side bearings cups installed?

With the new smaller shimano cups, and the adapter tool, you can't tighten the cup all the way due to the recess into the yoke. Mine keeps coming loose and now I think its stripped. I had to put a spacer on the non-drive side just to get a bit of grip on it. Does the cup/socket BB tool fit inside the yoke?

I had no issue with the shimano new xt smaller bb. Went in fine. Still hate it because of the stupid tool but no issues. I am pretty sure I only used a spacer on the drive side.

I'm going to try the Saint BB which has the larger 44mm cups. How awesome is Shimano for creating 3 different BB cups sizes Saint, XT, XTR?! I guess they need to keep Park Tool in business.

Any one on here have a large or XL Machine (or really any Pole) in the PNW? I've been super happy with my Guerrilla Gravity The Smash but can't help but wonder what something much longer would be like.
