Just picked up my new Stumpjumper Expert Carbon and the rims (DT 450 SL) had rim strips already installed. Bike came with tubless valves and picked up bike converted. Yes they convert to tubeless.

The Specialized tubeless rim tape is blue. My 08 SJ 29 had the green rim strips.
