    Complete 29" Tire Catalogue Thread

Now that the XR's are apparantly real, how about setting up a complete list, with pics, of all 700c tires with 2.0"+ on the sidewall? For later generations to read back on, and for newbies to be referred to. we can add new listings as it becomes available over the years.

The idea : post one or more pics of a tire, with claimed and if possible verified weight range, as well as global price to be paid.
Rule : it has to be for sale, to be had within a few weeks after ordering tops.

Try to keep it neat, it's a catalogue thread, not a tire talk thread (so do keep me on a short leeche)

This time I won't take all the work away from you, let's hit it!

Schwalbe Little Albert 28(!!!)x2.1, but of course works with every 29"/700c rim.
Snakeskin, Folding bead, front or rear no matter how you mount it, ~635g actual. Looks like 1.9".

    Picture similar (26" image)

Schwalbe Big Apple 28x2.0 and 28x2.35", steel bead. Mostly for on-road cruising and beach racing.
    2.0" (43mm real on typical rim) ~780g , 2.35" (56mm real on typical rim) ~980g.

That's fine Cloxxki, but given the real size of many tires with a claimed size above 2.0, Twister Pro 42 is not much narrower, and quite offroad worthy for harpack.

Edit Cloxxki┬▓ : I just thought to make the distinction between tires wider than ever available pre-'99, and the CX-Touring tires that were the widest knobbies till then. There are probably 5x more tires 40-47mm than 50+mm, and guess what this whole movement is about? ;-)
