    Carbon Forks

I am thinking that my next build project is going to be a rigid 29er SS and I was wondering what the feeling was on a carbon fork up front. What kinds of brands are good/reliable? I have seen some on Ebay and was wondering if anyone had any feelings good/bad about either the Origin Black Ops or the eXotic. Anyone running one?

    Thanks.

I like the eXotic fork allot. The fork combined with carbon handlebars took care of the beating my elbows were taking. I couldn't sleep at night after riding they hurt so bad (from prior sports wear & tear). Now no pain at all. Also dropped weight on the bike making the switch. Heres mine:

That's a real clean looking build ProLink. Almost exactly the same as my Vassago, before it got squished.

Good looking bike! How does the Jabber handle with that fork? I had been looking at the niner CF fork for my Bandersnatch because it is a close match geometry-wise to the ODIS fork I like the way my bike handles, but wouldn't mind losing some weight and gaining some compliance in the rough. Did you run an ODIS before the exotc CF?

Handles great. I didn't have the ODIS fork prior (had eXotic aluminum) so I can't compare it to that but the bike is definitely dialed in now. I've been considering the niner fork also but not for any reason other than I like trying new stuff.
