BuSS 29er, new Phil wheels for KM (xpost SS)

My first non-convert SS was a Bianchi BuSS a number of years ago. I sold it and later regretted it....it was such a fun/fast bike. I've been on my KM for over a year and love the bigger wheels. So I decided I'd try to do something different with my buddies BuSS that has been sitting in my basement for 2 years. I drilled a DX cog to fit my rear disc hub to get the off road fixie thing going. Rear clearance is tight, but it fits.

I haven't had it out yet except for the neighborhood test. Bars might need some adjusting. I've been without a drop bar off road fixie for about a year and so I'm excited to get back on it.

Oh, and I just built up some Phil KiSS Off disc hubs and put them on my KM, so here's a few pics of that too.

Nice job on the BuSS. But man, seat back, drop bars, on a MTB frame, if you can reach those hoods you must be ALL torso!
That tire clearance is so tight, I'm sure it's illegal.
Great though, the 29" wheels add to the BB height, sounds liek a good plan for a fixie. Is the buddy jealous yet?

    Like your KM too.

    still needs some attention.

Yep, I haven't touched the cockpit yet....I just got it up and running without a thought on fit. More than anything I was watching my little girl this weekend while my wife was at work and I thought I'd tinker. I'm sure my buddy is jealous, but how jealous can he be if he let the frame sit in my basement for 2 years??
