    Best Frame $200-250

I am new to the 29er's and am looking for a good frame to use initially as SS, then maybe geared. What is the best bet? A used KM? Or wait for a Monocog?

    Thanks

you best bet is the first thing your size, and in one piece in the MTBR classy's or Ebay you find in that price range.

Your are gonna be hard pressed to get much of anything for that price from what I have seen.

You might as well wait until the Monocog comes out. That would be you best bang for the buck if you want to stay as cheap as possible on a SS. It will be kinda heavy, but cool

The Monocog frame+fork may not even be much heavier(if at all) than the KM. Frame heavier, fork lighter, at least on the proto shown on here.

I just picked up an 18" used KM frame, and fork in decent shape on ebay for $260.

    Nice

Thanks, I'll keep a look out for a KM, riding a 16.5-18 26er frame, would my best bet be a small?

    Maybe I'll try and demo a GF - Paragon/X-Caliber/Cobia/Rig.
