yes, and you can buy the upper assembly and steering tube and switch out a normal steerer.

    I'm not being clear

I would like Fox F29er fork that has a tapered steerer for a Niner RIP 9. I like the idea of a Fox but am attracted to the U Turn of the Reba. Any deals under $700?

    Thx,

    Jay

    Jay,

Niner has 120mm RL Tapered (black) available as an OEM and have since April for all new RIP9's. If you are trading in your JET9 for a RIP9 then we'd be more than happy to work something out with you or your dealer to get you this fork.

U turns are lame...if going RIP its retarded Tom Foolery to think a U Turn is of value as I assume, based on what i hear, the bike is nicely balanced so i say piss off to lame azz travel adjust, especially when running a 120mm on a bike intended for such travel. I like REBA but if you want a Fox and tapered, which sounds great, then looks like Niner is being very accomodating and no doubt will serve as the best option for you

No they don't. Tapered means that you'e not gnarcore enough to need a 1.5 and that the frame is going to flex like a wet noodle. Ask the badazzes in the Turner forum, they'll tell you.
