Already have an El Rey, should I bother with the Tallboy?

I have an El Rey that I like but always wondered about a lighter version of a 29er FS. The El Rey is pretty decked out and comes in at just under 28 lbs. I can get a deal on a Tallboy but wondered if it would be worth the money and hassle? I have briefly ridden the TB and the carbon is a bit smoother ride. Never got a change to compare the climbing abilities. I have a hard time believing that any 29 FS can bomb the downhills better than the El Rey. She is a beast. What do you guys think?

Have Sherwood build you an El Patron. I love mine. 26lbs for a 22in 29er fs.

I have both. The El Rey is better in the chunk and the TB pedals better. The El Rey has been less problematic. If I was on a budget and needed to keep one bike, the El Rey wins. It's simple, comes with great customer service, and pedals 9/10ths as well as the TB with a PUSHed shock.
