Does anyone have a link or can anyone post the info on here? I am trying to find out the weights of the leading 29er rims:

    Salsa
    Bontrager
    Stans
    WTB
    DT

Yes, that thread is worthy of reading - as well as continued updating as more and more products become available. If we look back one, two and three years ago - plenty of posts about lack of rim choices and tire choices, and frame choices and fork choices, etc... . However, progress on available choices has slowly, but surely marched forward.

A few new rims since that rim thread from March of last year...

Speedgoat now carries the Mavic disc specific A317 29er rim in Silver for $69.95 per rim. I used the 26" version of this rim in black back when it was called the Mavic X 317 disc and still have them in my garage laced to DT 240's. It is an excellent wheelset and the rims never caused any problems for me. I would be interested to hear any reports how the new 29er A317 is performing for people who have built a wheelset with them. The A317's are listed at 500 grams, 23mm wide, 18mm height and are both Schraeder/Presto valve hole compatible.

We also have the new Salsa Delgado 29er Disc rim at 490 grams, 22.5mm wide, 18mm height, presta valve only for $48 per rim.

Sun came out with the DS2-XC 29" MTB Rim, 470 grams, 23.42mm width, black and disc only for $44.99.

I know there are more, but those three just popped up in my mind to add to the chart. Anyone interested in updating that chart? Kustomz? How about it?

I too wished we could get a updated 29er rim topic kept in a factoid section.
